Zellhoefer is an experienced engineer and manager.
Among the many assembly candidates, he has the RIGHT backgroud to pull California out of the economic quicksand it's in.

Every day dozens of small businesses
leave California. Just try to get a moving truck to Arizona or Nevada. Fueling this exodus are over regulation, high minimum wages, and the
outragious costs of insurance employers are obligated to pay.
Many companies are leaving, and taking their best workers with them. It should be obvious that this
leaves California with a jobs base that is tilted, tilted towards government and service sector jobs.
As your Assemblyman, I will continue the reform of workers
comp. insurance by promoting a program similar to that in Arizona and Florida. I will also promote the reform
of this law by allowing employers/workers to select limited liability waivers in liew of mandatory
insurance.
BUSINESS GROWTH
IS THE KEY TO ECONOMIC RECOVERY. CALIFORNIA IS A DIVERSE STATE WITH PORTS, TECHONOLOGY, AGRICULTURE, AND VAST OPEN AREAS. WE CAN
BE COMPETITIVE. WE JUST NEED TO ACCEPT THAT TIME HAVE CHANGED AND REFORMS OF ITS OLD PRACTICES ARE ESSENTIAL.
- California must diversify its power and transportation networks.
- Education must also diversify and train students in both social, scientific, and trade skills.
- Incentives for new eco-friendly technologies must be adopted.
- We must cut our use of food crops (specifically corn) as the basis for renuable fuels.
- Taxes on gasoline should be cut, not increased, until alternatives are available.
