Energy costs are forcing
business out of California and severly impacting our rural communities. Candidate Zellhoefer would offer incentives for businesses involved in renewable technologies. |
Jon Zellhoefer is an energy expert. He served on California's
first energy commission technology review panel back in the days of Governor Jerry Brown's administration. He has
been a long time supporter of energy conservation.
"No other candidate in this election is pre-approved by the United States Department of Energy to provide services
to government agencies" stated candidate Zellhoefer when asked how he compared with any of his opponents.
Zellhoefer continued
"In the area of energy efficiency and conservation
expertise, I am the 500 pound Gorilla. I will bring the Legislature in Sacramento some real leadership in this arena."
California is out of control.
We must rope in energy costs. This can only be done by increasing the supply of renewable fuels and making the electric
grid more competitive. We also need to harden our backup plans so we don't find ourselves in
a mess like the folks down south found out after Katrina. California must do more to protect its citizens.
Our schools must be the safest
places our children can be.
AS A MEMBER OF THE CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLY I WILL CONDUCT A FULL INVESTIGATION INTO THE ADEQUACY OF OUR SCHOOLS TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN IN THE CASE OF A MAN MADE OR NATURAL EMERGENCY. AS AN ENERGY EXPERT, I WILL ASKED MY FELLOW LEGISLATURERS TO CONSIDER INCENTIVES FOR SCHOOLS THAT USE RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES. IT IS ALSO TIME TO PUT PERSONAL MASS TRANSIT INTO PLAY AND SLOWLY REDUCE OUR DEPENDANCE ON CARS AND FOSSIL FUELS.
